AFC Leopards will host Gor Mahia at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani in the biggest football match on Kenyan soil. Both teams will be eager to appease their huge followings and will need the best players to step up.

Kenneth Muguna
The Gor Mahia captain is leading by example for the defending champions. Muguna is the highest scorer for Steven Pollack’s side with 8 goals so far.
He is also a very good final ball player and tops the Kenya Premier League assist charts with 12 so far. That makes it 21 goal contributions for the midfielder in 22 matches. Leopards will need to have a plan on how to curb his influence or end up on the losing side.
Elvis Rupia
He is the man AFC Leopards depend on for goals. Rupia has scored nine goals this season with the last one coming last week against Chemelil. Rupia combines brutal strength with excellent off the ball movement making it hard for center back to mark him.
Against a Gor Mahia backline that has not kept a clean sheet in the last four outings, Rupia could find himself netting his 10th goal of the season.
Nicholas Kipkirui
Nicholas Kipirui loves playing against AFC Leopards. Last season he scored twice as Gor Mahia won 3-1. He warmed up to his favorite fixture with a goal against Western Stima last weekend.
Fast with and without the ball, Kipkirui is a nightmare for opposing defenders. He is also a very capable finisher and will keep Leopards on their toes all through the match.
Benjamin Ochan
The Ugandan shot-stopper is a very big part of an AFC defense that has the best record in the league. He has only conceded 16 goals and kept 12 clean sheets which is again the best record in the league.
Ochan os strong while claiming crosses into the box and is very commanding in his area. Gor Mahia attacker will need to be at their very best to beat him on Sunday.
