DCI Kinoti Angered by Haji’s Sabotage in Crucial Case, Victor Wanyama Quits Tottenham & State Probes Politicians for Somali Spying Link

Good morning,

Men say women are the most difficult species to understand, but in reality, they are the living definition of ‘complicated’.

Take Bongo star Diamond Platnumz, for example.

On Monday, it emerged that the celebrated artiste had parted ways with his Kenyan girlfriend, Tanasha Donna, with the poor girl now turning into an Instagram motivational speaker.

The breakup came after Diamond failed to keep his pants zipped, the same reason why his relationships with his Ugandan and Tanzanian baby mamas, Zari Hassan and Hamisa Mobetto respectively, ended sourly.

What is most puzzling is that all the women the musician dates and plays are extremely beautiful, and wife-material, which brings us to the question, what is it that men want?

In some instances, you will even find a man cheating on a woman who is way out of his league, with another, who is as basic as they come.

Apparently, celebrities are not the only ones whose love stories are continually biting the dust.

According to records from Kenyan courts, 149 couples filed for divorce in February alone, and in January, 95 such cases were registered.

Did cupid die?

Meanwhile, now that Diamond is done planting his seeds in East Africa, he must already have his sights on a lady from another country. Ethiopia maybe?

Two years after assuming office in 2018, the bromance between DCI boss George Kinoti and DPP Noordin Haji is at stake, exposed by the release of KPA boss Daniel Manduku and KRA’s commissioner for customs Kevin Safari in court on Tuesday, March 3. Manduku and Safari had been arrested over alleged tender fraud.

A report by The Standard, on Wednesday, March 4, stated that Kinoti took over the case himself and bypassed the DPP’s office.

Haji only learnt of the arrest of the duo through the media, as DCI officers claimed that they were frustrated by efforts by DPP Haji to handle cases as files dated back to April 2019 still lay at Haji’s office.

The United States is set to go to the ballot in November, for the country’s presidential election. Interestingly, we have heard so little about the event, unlike in Kenya, where the whole world already knows who will contest for the top seat, in an election that is two whole years away. Do you think Kenyans take politicking too seriously or are we just an extremely enthusiastic nation?
