Good Move! Arsenal Interested in Wolves Goal Machine

After a series of disappointing results, Arsenal may need to bolster their reeling squad with players that can guarantee a Champions League spot.

But with the cash-strapped side being bundled out of the Europa League last week by Olympiacos in the round of 32, the Gunners could likely go for a barren summer.

Despite that, Mikel Arteta has spotted particular players with the hope the club’s hierarchy might break the bank and consider securing one or two players.

And according to the Guardian, the north Londoners are possibly interested in sensational Wolves forward Raul Jimenez.

Jimenez has been a revelation to the Molineux side, establishing himself as one of the backbone players of the team and fans favourite under the command of Nuno Espirito.

He has so far netted 22 goals and laid on 10 assists in 42 games in all competitions. His performances have prompted links with Manchester United ahead of the winter transfer window, but in the end the 20-time English champions opted to bring in Odion Ighalo on loan.

Of course, it would make sense for the Gunners to go for the 28-year-old. But all will be waiting to see if the Mexican forward will accept the move, given that his chance of featuring in the Champions League is more likely with Wolves than Arsenal.
