Kenyan actor Dan Sonko’s new lover Winfred Bwire Ndubi has for the first time come out to disclose how the two met.
Speaking during an interview, Bwire, who also acts at Kilimani Dynasty alongside Dan, revealed that she met Dan in the film industry and that his late wife Dru was her friend.
Adding that she has never eyed on him since they were friends and colleagues.
“Nilijuana na Dan katika sekta hii yetu ya sanaa but we have also been friends kuanzia kitambo, na mke wake alikuwa rafiki yangu,kitu funny nikwamba sijawai kumwona design iyo juu alikuwa na mke na watoto,”she confessed.
“Uhusiano wetu si kitu tulipanga fanyike,ilihappen way after wards baada ya mkewe kufariki”.
When asked how she deals with critics, Bwire said that she chooses to ignore them.
“Kusema ukweli mimi ni mtu wa chini chini nko very introverted, mimi husikia rumours watu wakiongea but I have never bumped into them na mimi hujachugua kudeal na maisha yangu I choose to focus on the positive,” said Bwire.
Asked whether Dan moved on so fast, Bwire said that everyone has different ways of mourning and I can’t say Dan moved on too fast.
“kuna watu tofauti humu nchini siewezi sema Dan aliendelea na maisha yake kwa haraka baada ya kumpoteza mke wake. Sihisi kama nimemsaliti mkewe kwa maana wakati alikuwa uhai sikuwa na uhusiano wowote na Dan, na hata katika kazi yetu sijawahi muona kama anaweza kuwa mpeNzi wangu. Kwa sababu tayari alikuwa na familia yake,”she said.
Dan, lost his wife more than two years ago after she developed complications during childbirth.
