ODM MP Heckled by Waiguru, Ngilu at Narok BBI Rally (Video)

An ODM MP found himself on the wrong during the Narok BBI rally.

Budalangi MP Raphael Wanjala was booed by women leaders who were present at the meeting.

Led by Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, the female politicians were irked by the sentiments expressed by Wanjala.

The legislator claimed that male governors should not be forced to choose a female deputy.

Wanjala reiterated that the political decision should not be treated as a marriage.

He commented that the Constitution was to be blamed for the wrangles witnessed over gender rule.

The vocal politician asserted that he and a group of other leaders were advised not to legislate matters dealing with gender.

The Budalangi MP reiterated that according to the Europeans, Africans were naive in allowing to be controlled by the foreigners.

Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege condemned the remarks by the ‘Chungwa’ party member.

Sabina pronounced that women were important people in society.

Wanjala became the second politician to be booed during the BBI campaign gatherings.

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria was heckled at almost kicked out during the Kitui gathering.

Ngilu was among the leaders who were pushing for his ouster.

According to the Kitui county boss, Kuria had abused President Uhuru Kenyatta.
