Pressure is increasingly mounting on Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang’i after a bodaboda rider was shot dead by a police officer stationed at Mama Lucy Hospital.
Kevin Mubadi-Bodaboda Association chairman has called for a speedy probe into the matter to bring closure to the incident that claimed the life of the 24-year-old rider.
On his part, Bodaboda Secretary-General Kenneth Onyango challenged CS Matiangi to address the shooting incident,
” I want to assure the Government that we will not fear, we will put (sic) demonstrations,” warned Mr Onyango.
The rider was in a group of three who had accompanied a baby who was rescued from drowning when the confrontation ensued.

Daniel Mburu, the deceased rider had come back to find his bike had been confiscated by one of the two police officers manning the gate at Mama Lucy Hospital.
A confrontation ensued after he asked about his bike after which one of the cops stationed at the gate pulled him into a structure near the entrance to the facility and shot him at close range on the chest.
It is at the gate where the deceased was shot dead at after allegedly being roughed up by the police officer.
