Handle Your Problems on Your Own, Ndindi Nyoro Now Tells Ruto

Allies of Deputy President William Ruto, on Sunday, advised the politician to find a way to maneuver through his incessant political woes on his own, without seeking their assistance.

Speaking on behalf of the Ruto allied Tangatanga faction, during a church service in Dandora where the DP was in attendance, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro told the deputy head of state that he needed to undergo some political hardening, in order to lead the nation wisely in future.

Nyoro, using a butterfly analogy, likened Ruto to a blossoming caterpillar, that has to undergo a myriad of difficulties before turning into a vibrant butterfly.

He noted that anyone trying to interfere with the natural lifecycle of the butterfly, by helping it break out of its cocoon during its early stages of life, always ended up killing it and as such, leaders rooting for Ruto’s 2022 presidency needed to take a step back, from the ongoing dirty politics against Ruto, and let him battle it out on his own.

”Iking’ang’ana that is where it develops the energy and the strength in the wings ndio ikuwe butterfly (From its struggles, the caterpillar gains the energy and the strength in its wings to transform into a butterfly),” the vocal legislator noted.

”Deputy Rais, hawa wananchi wanaona ukiwa caterpillar uking’ang’ana kuwa butterfly (Deputy president, Kenyans are watching you transform from a caterpillar into a butterfly),” Nyoro told Ruto.

”What I want to tell you as Ndindi Nyoro and other MPs, we will not help you develop…from a caterpillar to a butterfly. Hio mashida yote unafaa upitie (You need to deal with all the pain),” he added.

He asserted that for Ruto to become the fifth president of Kenya, he needed to undergo some tough tribulations, encouraging the DP to view his political detractors as stepping stones.

”Ndio ukikuwa rais was tano wa Kenya wewe utakuwa rais ambaye ataweka legacy na record ile kubwa sana katika nchi yetu ya Kenya (This is so that once you become the fifth president of Kenya, you will leave the most impressive legacy ever),” the MP said.
