Majority Leader of Senate Kipchumba Murkomen issued an ultimatum in reference to the BBI report.
The BBI campaign trail was back on track after the temporary halt to mourn the late former President Daniel Moi.
Meru will become the fifth place to play host to the gatherings that have since made four stopovers in the last month.
Murkomen through a tweet remarked that he would take action if the final report fails to address the important issues facing the country.
The Elgeyo Marakwet leader stated that he would outrightly fight the President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga initiative.
According to the politician, he would lead a no team over the report if the findings of the document don’t showcase the ambitions of Kenyans.
He further reiterated that he would disregard the analysis if a referendum to change the constitution won’t be held.
According to the Senator, a draft of the project should facilitate an end to the greediness of power by politicians.
The tough-talking ally to Deputy President William Ruto added that the document should eradicate the creation of political positions based on tribal influences.
“If the final BBI report doesn’t capture the aspirations of the people of Kenya&a referendum to amend the constitution is organized with a draft that limits the sovereign power of the people or creates tribal positions or undermines devolution, I will oppose&Will lead the NO Team,” read the tweet.

During the Mombasa BBI rally, Murkomen outwitted the Raila led team with another change of tune.
The Tanga Tanga member publicly endorsed the referendum option in determining whether the BBI report will be adopted or not.
The move by Murkomen was seen as a comeback after being heckled during the launch at Bomas.
Suna East Junet Mohamed, who had been the mastermind of the predicament that faced the politician at the time, was left speechless by the tactic used by his foe.
Murkomen’s mastery of Kenyan politics has been indicated to have made him a force to reckon.
The vocal leader’s ability to organise his speech was reported to have given him access to areas that even Ruto wouldn’t visit.
If the latest decision is anything to go by, the centre stage for the real BBI war has been set.
