Nominated Meru MCA Petronilla Gainchi Kiao has passed on at a Nairobi hospital. The news of her death was on Friday announced by Speaker Kaberia Arimba who mentioned that the leader died due to an illness.
Gainchi’s death comes two days after the demise of another ward representative from Kiambu County. On Wednesday, it was reported that Kiambu MCA Cyrus Omondi was found dead in his room in India.
From some of her previous photos on social media, Gainchi comes off as a people’s person considering that most of her followers praised her for her good work and service to their county. Two years ago, Gainchi was congratulated over her title as an MCA and her followers believe that she deserved it.
