Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has confirmed that the French midfielder wants to return to Juventus as Turin is his ‘home’.
Pogba’s future at United has been a subject of speculation after the player declared his interest to leave the club last summer. He was however denied his wish as United insisted that he is not for sale at whatever price.
He remained at Old Trafford but has struggled with injuries this season. He is currently on the sidelines after undergoing ankle surgery at the start of the year.
Raiola’s relationship with United has deteriorated in recent months with the agent severally lashing at the club for the way they have treated his client his return to the club in 2016 from Juventus, Pogba has come under heavy criticism from the fans and former United players for the last one year.
The club is well aware that this could be his last season at Old Trafford and is already preparing for his departure. They have already signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting and are preparing a double swoop for the English duo of Jack Grealish and James Maddison in the summer.
Pogba’s representative has all but confirmed that the world cup winner will be heading back to Turin by stating that Turin is the midfielder’s home and he will definitely want to go back home. He, however, added that the player may not leave when the tea is struggling.
The midfielder has won the Europa League and League Cup titles with Manchester United since he made his big-money move back to Old Trafford.
