Gor Mahia Shares The Spoils With Western Stima in Kisumu

Kenya Premier League defending Champions Gor Mahia failed to win for the second match in a row following a 1-1 draw with struggling Western Stima at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Gor Mahia came into the match on the back of a 3-1 loss to Sofapaka last weekend. things started on the worst possible note when Harambee Stars defender Joash Onyango was sent off in the tenth minute for a foul while he was the last man.

Gor Mahia held on to end the first half on level terms. The Champions came back into the second half and went ahead through a Cliffton Miheso tune and shot from outside the 18-yard area.

Stima would, however, pull level just 20 minutes later through Godfrey Villa Orachaman who broke on the counter before applying a smart finish. He quickly turned from hero to villain when he was sent off nine minutes after the goal for a nasty foul on Kenneth Muguna.
