Top City Journalist Hospitalised After Brutal Attack by Robbers

A top city journalist is fighting for his life after he was brutally attacked by robbers.

Mr Caleb Jones, who works at TV47, took to social media where he revealed that he was admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital after he had been attacked by thugs.

“For the last two nights have been battling for my life at Kenyatta National Hospital after I was attacked by thugs. I thank my God for being with me all through even the friends who came and stood with me Mungu awabariki sana,” he posted on Facebook.

Mr Jones has for the last year been working at TV47.

Cases of journalists being attacked in the country have been on the rise with various bodies coming out to condemn the incidents.

Barely a month ago, Mr Hesbon Etyang, who works for The Star Newspaper was attacked by security guards at a hotel in Turkana and beat up.

Last year, two KTN journalists were attacked and seriously injured by St Steven’s Girls Secondary School in Machakos.

In yet another incident, KTN investigative reporter Franklin Wallah was attacked by six armed gangsters who stole valuable items from him.

He was attacked at a time when he had just resigned from K24 to join KTN.
