The robbers in most incidents target containers that carry electronics which include laptop, radios and television sets.

Nairobi County police boss Philip Ndolo has in the past warned the criminals who target the containers saying that their days were numbered.

The Embakassi Depot receives over 5,500 containers a week from Mombasa and it takes a lot of time to clear them.
This has led to a huge backlog in the depot.
