Pogba had expressed his interest to quit the club last summer for Juventus or Real Madrid but United refuse to sell and he had to remain at Old Trafford for another season. He started the first few games of the season before he picked an injury, he briefly returned to action in December before getting injured after two games.

He underwent ankle surgery in January and has been recuperating ever since although his return date is yet to be known as he continues to undergo rehabilitation at Carrington.

Reports from the UK now claim that the 26-year old has told his teammates that he will not stay at the club beyond the current season as he wants to return to Turin in the summer. Juve was interested in re-signing the midfielder who played for them between 2012 and 2016 before making a big-money return to United.
