President Uhuru Kenyatta is known for his warm personality especially when he is out for social events where, at times, he even joins performers on stage and shows off his dancing skills.
The president’s cheerful nature got the better of him during the UB40 concert at Carnivore on Saturday, 1st February, where he was seen dancing to the tune of the British Band.
With him in the VVIP area were Citizen TV news Anchor, Jeff Koinange among other revelers.

The Head of State is well known for his love of reggae music with his favorite musicians being UB40, Bob Marley and Tracy Chapman.

During a Churchill Show interview on June 2011, a younger Uhuru revealed his deeply rooted love for reggae music, with all the names on his list falling in that genre of music.
“I’m stuck in a certain age, my favorite musicians are UB40, Bob Marley, Gregory Isaacs…” the then Minister of Finance revealed.
The band famed for songs such as Red Red Wine, Food for Thought, One in Ten, I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You, Don’t Break My Heart and Sing Our Own Song is celebrating its 40th anniversary and Kenya is one of its performance points.
