7 Lies Kenyan Men Will Use To Avoid Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s day is around the corner! This year is actually very interesting because of the dates, Valentine’s will be on a Friday which means it will be a whole Valentine’s lovey weekend!

This is the time you are curious to know if your man has planned a vacation at the sky blue beaches at the Diani or a candlelit romantic dinner at an exquisite hotel which will be accompanied by a bouquet of wine red roses or maybe a proposal.

When approaching the 14th February, this is when Kenyan men start looking for excuses and you need to be smart about it.

Here are 7 common lies you expect to hear;

1.’Babe, Valentine’s day is an every-day thing.’

Once he tells you this, just know there is nothing he has planned for you. To make matters worse, if he tells you this and he has never done anything for you, this is the least you need to hear and deserve.

2. ‘Don’t worry love, I have something planned for us.’

3. ‘I don’t even celebrate my birthday, Valentine’s ndo nitacelebrate?’

If you are dating a stingy man, my bad! Expect such a response.

But it does not hurt to try to celebrate Valentine’s with your woman? So do something special don’t come up with an excuse.

4. ‘ Tumeargue ata, so there is no Valentine’s day.’

This is actually the shadiest lie! Some men love starting unnecessary arguments and end up going missing in action because they know you will be all over asking about Valentine’s.

The rule is family comes first. So once your partner tells you this, you definitely will respect that.

But after a reality check, that was not the plan. It was an escape plan.
