10-Year-Old Pastor Praising Reverend Lucy Natasha For Not Having Sex Is Fake News

Reverend Victor Githu, a 10-year-old pastor who took the internet by storm through his sermons and interviews has been on the spotlight ever since his video went viral.

His character and calling have both attracted mixed reactions with some expressing excitement and others throwing insults and criticism. Although some would describe him as controversial, others have taken advantage of his popularity to push their ill-intended agenda.

Recently a publication by Kenya Today alleged that the young reverend praised reverend, Lucy Natasha, for not having sex.  As indicated in their report, Githu is said to have cursed women who do not preserve their virginity for the man who will marry them.

Part of the publication also mentions that the pastor warned that women who sleep with countless men before marriage will end up in hell. Kenya Today also added that the young reverend urged women to emulate celebrity preacher Lucy who has kept her dignity for years.

With a close analysis of this news, it is convincing that this is based on fake information. Some Kenyans have discredited the site for being notorious for posting content that is not based on facts.

In another story,by the same site, they claim that Githu also confessed that his first sexual encounter made him hate satan and his agents. A report that has equally raised suspicion.

In an unrelated story, Kenya Today alleges that Dj Evolve who was hospitalized after he was shot by Babu Owino thanked Jehovah Wanyonyi for saving his life. This is however not true because a recent update from the Dj’s family revealed that the victim is still in a critical condition and unable to speak.

Beyond these reports about the young reverend, a number of fake social media accounts have been created in the name of Githu. Despite these fake news doing rounds online, the pastor has still not issued any statement in regard to the same.

Speaking during a previous interview, Githu had revealed the challenges he goes through as a young pastor saying that people think he is crazy.

“People used to say that I’m crazy when I started preaching, but I tell them one thing, you’d better have craziness that can take you far than the wisdom that will take you nowhere,” he said.
