Tv47,Villa Rosa Kempinski Announces Valentine Hot Challenge

TV47, the home of untold stories which is linked to Mount Kenya University founder Simon Gicharu has announced a mega valentine challenge to its fans at Villa Rosa Kempinski.

The station focuses on live coverage of the 47 Kenyan counties with an angle on youth-centric content. It cuts across the board and brings to you stories that have never been told before, in a unique way.

The station is in high gear recruiting some of the media industry’s top journalists as it seeks to make a name for itself. While confirming the valentine challenge, the station CEO Eugene Anangwe said the exercise is aimed at rewarding their loyal viewers during valentine.

 

“Due to the support that we have received from our fans across 47 Counties, the station felt its now time to reward them, We settled on Kempinski Hotel due to its 5 star standards, Obama is said to have slept there and now its time for our fans to taste the feelings,” he said.

He said the exercise isn’t complicated as it only requires fans to record a 1-min clip with loved one telling on why they are inseparable. They should start recording by saying “TV47 The Home of UNTOLD Stories”  then Post on their social media accounts.

He said that on the night of valentine, the station will be re-branding by introducing new anchors as well as eye-catching programmes.

“We’re rebranding & unveiling new anchors/primetime programming, fresh look & we want to celebrate with you. Win fully paid for dinner at the Villa Rosa Kempinski with your loved one. #UntoldLoveStories,” he emphasized.

February 14 has been earmarked as the official launch date as Cape Media, the company under which TV47 trades seeks to take on big and establish players in the industry.

The stations boast of two studios, in Nairobi and Mombasa, and will be doing live broadcasts in the two cities besides Kigali, Eldoret and Kisumu.

The station will broadcast in both English and Swahili and expects to produce unique, quality stories that otherwise typically stay off the radar of established channels.
