‘We Will not Eat BBI’- Moses Kuria Tells Off Uhuru

Gatundu South MP on Friday dismissed President Uhuru Kenyatta telling him that Kenyans, he included, will not eat the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI).

The legislator, among other things, said that Kenyans needed employment more than the BBI drive which he is so intent on pushing to Kenyans.

Kuria, however, insisting that he was not opposing BBI initiative begged the President to look into improving Kenya’s economy.

On Wednesday, Kuria started his onslaught against President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s BBI expressing displeasure at Raila’s newly found position, by the head of the state’s side.

The sharp-tongued politicians tore into Uhuru for allowing a foreign party into his ‘marriage’, and his recent no-dialogue approach to the escalating political situation in the country.

Taking to the podium, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria resorted to speaking in his mother tongue, to drive his point home, as he dressed Uhuraila down, terming Raila as a gitumia (an unpleasant woman).

Kuria noted that since Uhuru and Raila embarked on their unity crusade under the BBI, politicians who had earlier demonstrated undying loyalty to the president were thrown under the bus, and left to suffer at the hands of Raila and his ODM troops.

The tanga tanga group allied to the deputy president William Ruto, which Kuria is also a member of, insisted that they were still going on with the plan to hold the Nakuru BBI meeting despite numerous calls to have it cancelled.

They insisted it was not a parallel BBI meeting.
