Moses Kuria Breaks Silence on Uhuru’s Impeachment; Matiang’i New Strategy to Fight Al Shabaab & Tension at KNH Over Coronavirus

Good morning,

The Coronavirus is finally here. Well, it has not been confirmed but the chances that the male student who arrived in Kenya from China on Tuesday is infected cannot be ruled out. The student whose identity has not been revealed had been to Wuhan City, the cradle of the highly dreaded disease that has killed more than 106 people so far.

We appreciate Kenya Airways for the swift way in which it handled the case. The Kenyan government has recently developed a reputation for withholding critical information, but immediately the student was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital, KQ, told Kenyans and the entire world that this was a suspected case of coronavirus.

We don’t know how the government plans to deal with this. Remember, there is a Malaria outbreak that has killed at least three people in Elgeyo Marakwet County. If we can’t deal with a Malaria outbreak in 2020, then only God can save us from a Coronavirus outbreak.

We are waiting to see if our politicians, will postpone their BBI rallies over the weekend, or issue basic education on how the virus spreads. It will be interesting.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but to avoid the risks of contracting Coronavirus, you are advised to avoid having unprotected sex with live wild or farm animals.
