I Don’t Eat in Your Home, Uhuru Sends Warning to Tanga Tanga MP

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday afternoon sent a stern message to Bahati Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri over his frequent outbursts.

During the opening of Simba Cement in Nakuru County on Tuesday, the head of state said that he had decided to keep quiet after observing the steps of the MP for a while.

Uhuru went ahead to tell Nakuru residents to advise their MP to let him do his work.

“I don’t eat in his home,” Uhuru remarked.

The president claimed that the Bahati legislator has been verbally abusing him on TV over his bid to unite the country.

Additionally, he insinuated that the utterances by Ngunjiri were aimed at selling fear to Kenyans and causing division.

After learning that the president will be in Nakuru County for a state function, Ngunjiri affirmed to the media that he would not attend the state function.

“I will be no-show in Uhuru Nakuru tour for obvious reasons,” said Ngunjiri.

The legislator has had a strained relationship with Uhuru to the extent that he once organized demonstrations against the president in Nakuru.

However, he has taken sides with deputy president William Ruto and journeyed with him in his Tanga Tanga course.

Recently, the lawmaker was summoned by the DCI over remarks he made against the president. He was later ordered to surrender his gun to the authorities.

A few weeks ago, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika and her fellow legislators from the region were locked of a state event where the president was issuing title deeds to residents.

The Simba Cement company that was opened is said to have cost Ksh 5.8 Billion and gives hope of expanding the economy Salgaa area, which has only been famous for being an accident blackspot.
