Fishy Reason Ruto Wants a Powerful Judiciary- Junet Mohamed

Suna East MP Junet Mohamed came out gun blazing in regards to Deputy President William Ruto.

The tough-talking Junet breathed fire over the alleged move made by Ruto in reference to the judiciary arm of the government.

During a presser, the ODM party member claimed that the DP was strengthening the legal body with the aim of escaping prosecution.

The ‘Chungwa’ party member reiterated that the same tactics were being used by Ruto’s ‘minions’ to gain leniency before the court.

“Only reason DP Ruto through his allies are pushing for increased allocation to the Judiciary is to win fervour with the judiciary, in the hope that judicial officers will go easy on his corruption cases and those of his allies that are pending before various judges/magistrates,” remarked the Suna East legislator.

Junet noted that aside from the judiciary, DP Ruto was the key problem to the ailing Agriculture sector.

He proclaimed that those close to him further deteriorated the sector with their schemes.

“On the new Tangatanga demand for setting aside 5% of national revenue to farmers, it is our contention that DP Ruto has been the single biggest stumbling block to Agriculture Sector in Kenya, where his handpicked corrupt friends have been in charge since Grand Coalition days,” expressed the lawmaker.

The pro-Raila Odinga supporter pronounced that the feud being propagated about President Uhuru Kenyatta and Chief Justice David Maraga was buried when the two met.

The vocal MP insisted that the lot forcing issues between the two heads were misleading Kenyans on the matter.

“President Uhuru and Chief Justice Hon. David Maraga already met over the funding of the judiciary. Any other political group purporting to pile pressure on the issue is taking Kenyans for a ride, in the hope that the law will be applied favourably on their numerous corruption cases,” uttered Junet.

The controversial politician, in addition, hinted that Tanga Tanga members during their retreat in Naivasha, discussed over impeaching Uhuru.

Junet maintained that they are ready to handle the motion in the event it is presented in parliament.
