Gatundu South MP on Saturday revealed a Nairobi Member of County Assembly (MCA) who allegedly attacked him at the just concluded Mombasa BBI rally which was marred by chaos as it came to an end.
The legislator on his Facebook post said Peter Imwatok MCA of Makongeni, Nairobi accosted him and took away his BBI hat and seat at the Mombasa BBI meeting.
Addressing his anger and complaint to ODM party leader Raila Odinga, he asked him, “Baba is this how Kenya would be if you were to become President?”
In video footage seen by Opera News and making rounds on social media, a group of people were recorded heckling the MP as he tried to fire back verbally.
He, however, resisted all attempts as he ‘defended his seat’.

Nyali MP Mohammed Ali and his Suna East MP Junet Mohammed almost also got into a fistfight over seating arrangements at the BBI rally in Mombasa on Saturday.
Organisers of the rally had underestimated the number of delegates expected, with fewer seats at the dais than the number of guests.
This forced several announcements by host Governor Hassan Joho and co-Master of Ceremony Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir that non-elected members, including their VIP bodyguards, had to move out of the dais.
Junet asked Ali to move to the back of the dais, saying the front row seats were reserved for Governors.
Ali had sat on one of the seats next to Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen.
Ali refused to move, saying he is also an elected MP and had a right to be at the dais.
He accused Junet of picking on him, before pushing back Junet’s hands that had reached out for him.
