Bournemouth V Arsenal: Match Preview, Team News And Betting Predictions

Arsenal travels to face Bournemouth on Monday night in the FA Cup. Mikel Arteta is a huge fan of the FA Cup having won it twice with Arsenal under Arsene Wenger and last season with Manchester City.

Interestingly, The Spaniard took charge of his first match as the Arsenal boss away to Bournemouth in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw. The team showed great improvements in their last match, drawing 2-2 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge despite being a man down for over an hour.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth seems to have woken from their slumber and punished Brighton 3-1 in their last Premier League match. The team is however still in the relegation places in the league which could impact the team selection on Monday.

Team News

Eddie Howe must do without defender Charlie Daniels as well as attacking midfielder David Brooks for the visit of Arsenal on Monday evening. Arnaut Danjuma, Jordan Ibe, Josh King, Chris Mepham, Jack Stacey and Junior Stanislas all remain sidelined.

Lewis Cook and Dan Gosling, meanwhile, are both pushing for starts.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang serves the last match of his suspension. Kieran Tierney and Calum Chambers are both out due to respective injuries. Arteta should hand a start to Rob Holding with David Luiz banned. Mattéo Guendouzi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, and Emiliano Martínez could all start.

Reiss Nelson and Sead Kolasinac are both out, while Sokratis is fit and trained on Friday.
