Kandara Member of Parliament Alice Wahome has slammed Embakasi East MP Babu Owino over shooting drama at B-Club in Kilimani.
According to Wahome, Babu Owino’s arrogance is costing him following his arrest on Friday morning, January 17.
In a Facebook post, the Kandara MP remembered an incident in which Babu threatened to shave her if she continued to disrespect President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.
The female legislator further recalled a controversial social media post by the vocal MP a day before his arrest.
On Thursday Babu, through a tweet, said that Raila Odinga will be the next President by all means necessary.
“Babu Owino insulted me a while ago but I let it go. He further wrote on his wall yesterday that Raila shall be president by ballot or bullet. His goose is cooked. He who is never taught of their mother gets hard lessons from the world,” she posted on Friday, January 17.
On January 11, the Embakasi East MP issued a stern warning to Alice Wahome after she allegedly disrespected the two big wigs.
Taking to twitter, Babu vowed to have the vocal legislator shaved.
“Alice Wahome must respect Baba and President Uhuru or we will shave every part of her body that has hair.This is not a threat it’s a promise,” he wrote.
Babu allegedly shot and injured a DJ identified as Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve at a popular night club in Kilimani, Nairobi, in the early hours of Friday morning.
According to the police, the MP drew his pistol and opened fire on the DJ after a heated exchange.
