Murkomen in Trouble as Removal of Majority Leader of Senate Looms

Majority Leader of Senate Kipchumba Murkomen woes hit a new twist in regards to his position.

The likes of Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya, Kiambaa MP Paul Koinange, Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu Kangema MP Muturi Kigano, are alleged to be the brains behind the move.

According to the politicians, Murkomen was toxic and had constantly undermined Uhuru’s efforts.

The group which hails from Mt Kenya, proclaimed that the Deputy President William Ruto supporter had on more than one occasion frustrated the Big Four Agenda.

The main reason for the strategy was due to Murkomen publicly condemning the BBI, something that the politicians noted will not be tolerated.

The Purge

Aside from the vocal leader, Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika(Senate Majority Whip) and Mumias East MP Benjamin Washiali(Parliament Majority Whip) are also set to face the same consequences.

The move is speculated to maintain and secure Uhuru’s legacy that has been threatened by those from Ruto’s camp as reported by a local daily.

Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi is articulated to be Murkomen’s replacement as Murang’a Senator Irungu Kang’ata and Bomet Senator Christopher Lang’at is perceived to take the places of Kihika and Washiali respectively.

More purge is expected to go deeper in parliament with the committees being targeted by the Uhuru brigade.

Navakholo MP Emmanuel Wangwe also is set to be kicked out as the vice-chairperson of the Agriculture committee.

The lot has, however, remarked that they are unmoved by the speculations.

Kihika, Washiali not scared

Washiali uttered that he had no knowledge of such a plan but would be ready for any eventuality.

Kihika on her part through a Facebook post, noted that her stance on supporting Ruto was stronger than ever and the promise Uhuru made should be upheld.

“Am Keeping the Covenant. My Word is my Bond. Kumi; Kumi! Liwe Liwalo. Great day good people,” expressed the Nakuru Senator.

On Tuesday, The Tangatanga camp was dealt a blow when the Head of State cracked the whip and made major changes to his cabinet.

Kiunjuri was thrown out as Agriculture CS and replaced with Peter Munya.

Will Murkomen, Kihika and Washaili survive or face the same fate as Kiunjuri is the big question.
