Controversial gay Kenyan man Mpenzi Chokuu has come out to reveal the sad life event that turned his whole life around and made him a homosexual.
Some people claim that people are born homosexual but in Mpenzi Chokuu’s case, his upbringing made him who he is.
Taking to his Instagram, Chokuu revealed that he was orphaned at age 8 and that is when all hell broke loose.
“When I lost my parents at the age of 8, I was left alone in the hands of one of my uncles. I was raped for 7 years. For 7 years I was silent, I had no one to defend me!” he wrote.
Many men live with the horror of being sodomized at a young age by people close to them. In Chokuu’s case, it was his uncle. Sodomy is a felony per Section 162 of the Kenyan Penal Code, punishable by 14 years’ imprisonment.
“And a stupid woman comes to insult me based on my sexuality and always using my pics to get homophobic men’s attention.” He finished saying he will deal with her properly.
Homosexuality is still illegal in Kenya and those found practising the felony under section 165 of the same statute, are punished by 5 years’ imprisonment.
