Tottenham Hotspur host Championship side Middlesbrough in their FA Cup replay at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on Tuesday evening. The sides drew 1-1 in the first match two weeks ago.

Spurs come into the match on the back of a disappointing 1-0 loss at home to Liverpool in the English Premier League. The team has yet to rise to the heights the reached last season under Mauricio Pocehttinowhere they reached the Champions League final.

They are however unbeaten in the last nine matches at home to the Championship side and will be looking to extend that record and also end the current run of four matches without a win in all competitions.

The visitors are in a rich vein of form and are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions, winning three and drawing two of their last five.

Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Ben Davies, Moussa Sissoko and Tanguy Ndombele are still sidelined by injuries.

Britt Assombalonga and Daniel Ayala are set to miss out for Middlesbrough because of ankle problems.

Back-up goalkeeper Tomas Mejias may be recalled after impressing in the 1-1 draw with Tottenham, but Anfernee Dijksteel, Ryan Shotton and George Friend remain unavailable.
