Anxiety as Ruto is ‘Kicked Out’ of Official Residence

Friends of the Deputy President William Ruto were his consolation amid Sunday morning tension that he was kicked out of his official residence.

His supporters have responded to the report from the Sunday Nation with hymns and scriptures.

Denis Itumbi, a renowned blogger who is allied to the DP took the lead by responding to the Nation’s cover page with a poetic hymn.

Another supporter quoted a bible verse that is meant to console Ruto amid his new predicament.

According to the Sunday Nation, Ruto had just moved into his official residence after it was renovated when he received orders to remove his personal belongings from the house.

It is said that Ruto headed to his Mombasa home on Wednesday evening where he found staff packing his personal effects.

The newly refurbished residence was the former Coast Provincial Commissioner’s home before its ownership was transferred to the DP in efforts to cut on costs.

It is alleged that not only the DP is facing a sabotage from a section of government officials but also members of his political circle.

When Moses Kuria was arrested on Friday a court order was secured by his lawyers that directed his release from police custody.

However, he was not released the same day and this prompted his fellow Tanga Tanga team members to swing into action.

The legislators led by Alice Wahome of Kandara Constituency said that Kuria was not a criminal but only facing the consequences of being Ruto’s supporter.
