Manager Urges Man United to Sign England International

Former Cardiff City manager,  Neil Warnock believes Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish can have the same impact as United great Eric Cantona should he complete a switch to Old Trafford.

The England international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this January as the struggling giants look to beef up their playing unit with some creative spark.

Grealish, James Maddison, and Kai Havertz are some of the midfielders linked with a switch to Old Trafford as coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks to beef up his midfield area that has been one of the weak areas in the team.

Warnock feels United should go for the Aston Villa skipper.

“That’s what I say about Manchester United, he’s that kind of player, you know, like a Cantona played for Man United, I think he’ll strut his business,” he said.

“I do love him. He’s a horrible little so and so when you’re playing against him because you know as soon as someone breathes on him he’s going to go down”.

Warnock says should struggling Villa go down, the England international will be good enough for the Red Devils.

“But his ability is fantastic. He has got better. You talk about Manchester United again…if Villa go down, I think he’s quite good enough to be a Man United player.
