ODM Founder Member Laid to Rest

Raila Odinga-led Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party has today (Wednesday) laid to rest their founder member the late Samuel Ndung’u Mungai.

Mr Ndung’u was laid to rest at his Bahati farm in Subukia.

He died on the 1st of this year after a long illness.

The late Ndung’u was also former ODM Chairman in Subukia.

At the burial ceremony, ODM was represented by their Nakuru coordinator Mr. Raymond Ochieng’.

“Today we laid to rest our ODM founder member and former Chairman Subukia the late Samuel Ndung’u Mungai at his Bahati farm in Subukia. Mr. Ndung’u died on the 1st of this year after a long illness bravely borne. The party was rep by our Nakuru coordinator Mr. Raymond Ochieng’,” ODM posted on twitter.

Last year, ODM was thrown into mourning state several times.

In December 2019, Raila led the party supporters and Kenyans at large in condoling with the family of Homabay senator Moses Kajwang after the passing on of his mother.

The Orange party again on December 28, 2019 announced the death of Mr. Charles Ole Nampaso, the party’s Narok County Chairman.

In August 2019, ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale was in mourning following the death of his brother Zachariah.
