How Govt is Tracking Miguna’s Movements Abroad

Stranded lawyer Miguna Miguna Wednesday embarked on a blame throwing spree as his journey back to Kenya, after two years in Canada, backfired twice.

In his Twitter rants, Miguna alleged that the government, led by President Uhuru Kenyatta, was behind the numerous “red alerts” distributed around international airports preventing him from securing a flight to Kenya.

Miguna was on Monday barred from boarding a plane to the country in Germany after it emerged that he is apparently flagged against travelling to African destinations.

A second attempt to fly to Kenya on Tuesday also failed, after a French airline ordered him to alight its Kenyan bound plane at the request of Kenyan authorities.

The firebrand politician later revealed that his Air France trip had been devised secretly, and only two individuals were aware of his attempt to outwit forces, working tirelessly to frustrate his patriotic return to Kenya.

According to Miguna, the government has ordered all carriers operating the Kenyan air route to send a list of passengers on their planes before each take-off.

This, he said, is how his secret trip to Kenya via Air France aborted prematurely.

The lawyer further noted that him being flagged across multiple airports is a fresh phenomenon and is in no way related to his 2018 deportation drama.

Miguna, who had sought the Nairobi governorship position during the 2017 General Election, has spent close to two years away from Kenya.

He has since been carrying out online activism against the government, having initially set his return date to the country for Jan. 7.
