I Have Always Wanted to Play at Old Trafford, Midfielder Fuels Man United Links

Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish has fueled speculation linking him with Manchester United by saying he has always wanted to play at Old Trafford.

The Villains’ number 10 has been linked with a January move to Old Trafford with United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen on adding creativity to his team that has struggled to create goal-scoring chances.

The Englishman had earlier been linked with Tottenham but a summer move to materialize in the summer and he remained at Villa Park this season.

With United trailing him, the midfielder has fueled speculation that he could be interested in a move to Old Trafford. In an interview, he said that he has always wanted to play at the historic Man United ground.

“I’ve played there before in a reserve cup final but it’s not the same when it’s like that. That’s obviously my favourite ground in the Premier League. I’ve always wanted to play at Old Trafford, “he said.

Grealish scored a goal against United earlier this month at Old Trafford during a league match against United that ended in a two-all draw.

He cut in from the left before hitting the top left corner and United coach although remaining tight-lipped on reports linking him with a move to United praised the player.

“I can’t talk too much about other teams’ players if they are Man United caliber or targets”.

“But a fantastic goal. I think he’s hit one of those corners that I’ve hit a couple of times. It was a great finish but then again we should defend better and show him down the left, ” he said.
