Mikel Arteta has named his first-ever team as the head coach at Arsenal. The Spaniard will preside over his first match as the Gunners boss with a trip to face Bournemouth.
With Calum Chambers out with a suspension, Sokratis has been recalled to partner David Luiz in defense while Bukayo Saka and Ainsley Maitland Niles cover the full-back positions.
Meanwhile, Granit Xhaka will start in midfield alongside Lucas Torreira while Mesut Ozil also starts in the attacking midfield position. Upfront, Mikel has gone with the duo of Alex Lacazette and Piere Emerick Aubameyang with young academy graduate Reiss Nelson preferred in place of Nicholas Pepe who again starts on the bench.
Matteo Guendouzi, Emile-Smith Rowe, Joe Willock al make the bench alongside, Dinos Mavropanos and Shkodran Mustafi. Arsenal is 11th on the table with just three wins from their last 13 matches.
