For close to 5 years, Bi Mswafari has been sharing marriage advice with couples across Kenya.
Given the way she counsels couples, some fans have been wondering if she plans on getting a man come 2020.
“Mwaka 2020 utakuwa na mwenzako?” Rashid Abdalla inquired on behalf of the fans.
“Mume?” Bi Mswafari asked before bursting out into laughter. She revealed that getting hitched is not something that has crossed her mind.
“Wala sijawahi kufikiria. Ningekujibu ndio kama ni lile jambo naliwaza. Wajua kuna lile jambo huliwazi na kama utaliwaza labda si utambia mwenyezi Mungu akupe? Sijui nitasema nini sijawaza,” she confessed on Citizen TV.
She disclosed that she has had suitors but getting married is not her priority now because her children still need her.
“Wanatokea sio kwamba hawatokei, wanatokea. Hata hapa hapa. Lakini sasa moyo haujataka na bado watoto wangu wananihitaji maana nitakapo sema yes ule upendo wa watoto utapungua,” she added.
State Commendation
Thanks to her work at citizen, Bi Mswafari was among the recipients of The Head of State Commendation (HSC) Civilian Division during this year’s Jamhuri Day celebration.
Other Citizen TV recipients were journalists Hussein Mohamed and Mike Okinyi.
