Viagra Did not Kill Justice Odek, Says Pathologist

Postmortem results have revealed that Justice Otieno Odek died as a result of a blood clot.

According to chief pathologist Johanssen Oduor, the deceased had a blood clot in the Vein of his right leg.

The right leg clot had prevented blood from flowing into his lungs.

The cause of his death was established after a 3-hour long postmortem examination at the Aga Khan Hospital morgue in Kisumu.

Odek was found dead in his house on December 16 in Kisumu town.

This is contrary to earlier assumptions that the judge might have died after consuming sex-enhancing drugs.

It is said that the jurist was found face-up naked in his bed, with a blanket drawn up below his chest and 3 sex enhancing tablets on the scene.

Further reports indicated that blood was oozing from his private parts and his left ear with a bruised hand.

Before his demise, he was handling some sensitive, high profile cases and in others listed as a witness.

Among the high profile cases is the trial of lawyer Tom Ojienda over the massive corruption at Mumias Sugar Company.

Prof.Odek, who was born October 18, 1963, in Eldoret Uasin Gishu County was sworn in as a Court of Appeal Judge in 2012

as a Court of appeal judge.
