Mega Blessings For DP Ruto as he Celebrates His 53rd Birthday

Deputy President William Kipchirchir Samoei Ruto today, 21st December 2019, is celebrating his 53rd birthday in style as he lays the foundation stone for the William S. Ruto Institute of African Studies at Makerere University.

The DP is the chief guest at the ceremony which was reportedly requested by Uganda President Yoweri Museveni.

Today, Ruto is also a happy man as he celebrates his 28th wedding anniversary with his wife Rachael Ruto. He was born back in  December 21, 1966 in Kamagut, Uasin Gishu County to Daniel Cheruiyot and Sarah Cheruiyot.

Ruto attended Kerotet Primary School then Wareng Secondary School for his Ordinary Levels education before proceeding to Kapsabet Boys, Nandi for his Advanced Levels.

He then went on to receive a BSc (Botany and Zoology) from the University of Nairobi, graduating in 1990. He was also a member of the Christian Union where he served as Chairman.

What many don’t really know about him is that he was ranked the best student in his class.

On 21st December 2018, the country’s second in command graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Plant Ecology from the University of Nairobi.
