Manchester City Winger Wants to Quit Club January

Manchester City winger Leroy Sane will request to leave the club for Bayern Munich in January according to reports in Germany.

The left-footed is currently recuperating after undergoing an ACL surgery just before the start of the current campaign. He recently began training in the grass and is expected to be back in action in February.

Before he picked the injury, the former Schalke 04 man was expected to join Bayern in a big-money move but Bayern opted out of the deal when he picked the long-term injury.

Reports now indicate that the City forward is determined to quit the club once the January transfer window opens and has made it clear to coach Pep Guardiola that he is not keen on staying at the Etihad any longer.

It is however not yet clear whether Bayern will be willing to splash the cash for a player who is yet to recover from a bad injury. The Germany international will reportedly cost around 127 million pounds, an amount the Bavarians may not be willing to spend for an unfit player.

The Munich based club is expected to beef up its playing unit in January after a difficult 2019/20 campaign. Sane is among players that the club has earmarked for signing.
