Sudi Bounces Back to Political Arena With Hard-Hitting Remarks on Mutua

After several days of being away from active politics, Deputy President William Ruto’s close ally, who doubles up as Kapseret MP, Oscar Sudi, has embarked on his ‘facebook politics’ with a hard-hitting statement on Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi

On Monday, Sudi, through a Facebook post, accused Mutua of seeking cheap publicity after he claimed that his life is in danger following threats from some top Jubilee leaders.

Sudi referred to the governor as a Slay King out to seek cheap publicity by inviting Deputy President William Ruto’s name in his ‘comics’.

“You are not a worthy leader, you are just a Slay King seeking cheap publicity. The best thing you can do is to deal with slay queens,” Sudi posted.

The lawmaker hit out at Mutua, who on Monday morning, alleged that DP Ruto, Senator Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen and his National Assembly counterpart Aden Duale threatened at State House.

“You are not in the same league with DP William Ruto or neither my league. You are way below me. Stop those nonsense. Ni nini ulifikiria unaeza uliwa na William Ruto? You are so stupid!” He added.

Sudi’s remarks came just hours after the governor, on Monday morning, went to the Kilimani Police Station DCI offices to record a statement over the matter.

In his statement, Mutua claimed that the threats, which were on separate occasions, promised to teach Mutua a lesson for undermining the DP.

naye (William Ruto) akanishika mkono kwa nguvu akaniambia ‘wewe jamaa nimeskia vile umesema, umekuwa ukinishambulia na sasa lazima nikugonge na nitakugonga, nitakufunza funzo’ (William Ruto gripped my hand and told me ‘I have heard how you have been fighting me and now I will hit you, I’ll teach you a lesson’),” claimed Mutua.
