Detectives from the office of Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Friday arrested one suspect in connection to the assortment of contraband goods recovered during a sting operation carried out by the institution.
The sleuths acting on a tip-off from the members of the public arrested Juvenaries Nzivo whom they found with a bunch of contraband goods consisting of cartons of toothpaste and fabric containers belonging to TechPack Industries.
The operation was carried out in Donholm area and the specific goods seized in S.M COKA Water Transporter yard.
The suspect is in police custody as further investigations continue.
On Friday also, the DCI arrested another suspect; Gideon Kioko Mutuko for having sold a Nissan Patrol bearing the same registration number, KBW 109Z, with a TATA Lorry owned by KELCO Company in Nairobi.
DCI detectives having received a report from the victim who was again being called upon by the 43-yr-old suspect to trade in the Nissan Patrol earlier sold to him for yet another Toyota Land Cruiser, the Detectives laid in wait at the venue before pouncing on him.
He is currently being held in police custody pending arraignment.
Kelco Company Management was summoned and availed the TATA Lorry in question for further Police Action.
