“In the light of recent conversations and speculations about working with the DP, please note that these speculations are malicious,” tweeted Kalonzo.

The Wiper leader added that the reports were a clear attempt to disenfranchise his cordial relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta and urged the perpetrators to keep him off from such sentiments.

In the reports, Muthama was quoted saying that time to work with ODM leader Raila Odinga had lapsed adding that the region was considering striking a political deal with DP Ruto and Nasa co-principals, Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) and Moses Wetangula (Ford Kenya).

The reports sparked mixed reactions from netizens with Governor Mutua terming the pronouncement as a product os several secret meetings held by the former senator.

He added that the pronouncement was the true position of Wiper leader and said that the Kamba nation will not welcome the move since they are tired of being auctioned to the highest bidder.

Mutua emphasised that the Kamba nation was solidly behind the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report in its bid to amend the constitution and unify the country.
