ODM leader Raila Odinga and Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru faced criticism over their new relationship.
Economist David Ndii took a swing against the two over their meeting at Raila’s office at Capitol Hill on Tuesday.
Ndii remarked that Raila and Waiguru should stop fooling people that they are now friends.
Through a tweet, the vocal author of the East African newspaper claimed that Governor Waiguru’s support for the veteran politician was manipulated.
He further expressed that Raila’s work these days is to help law offenders walk scot-free.
“Capital Hill Laundry Services. We clean: looters electoral fraud land grabbing historical injustices hate speech weupe wa pamba guaranteed, “read a part of the tweet.

The now converted foe of ‘Baba’ sentiments, however, did not go down well with a section of netizens.
Kenyans online claimed that Ndii was hypocritical with his latest attack on Raila.
Some remarked that the economist was just bitter after the ‘Chungwa’ party chief made an agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ndii openly criticised the handshake deal terming it as being thrown under the bus by the son of the late Jaramogi Odinga.
Here are some of the reactions:
Arnold Makumba stated that, “Raila has played his role unflinchingly without your support for s many years. If you feel betrayed, take up the mantle people and leave Baba alone.”
Another netizen by the name Mancini Mancini expressed that, “Anne Mumbi was acquited of the NYS1. How come she has not been presented to court ever? Ndii is a jilted lover.”
Engineer Kathiori questioned that, “You have turned into a Raila foe. Why so fast?”
Jotham uttered, “What’s the alternative? Hiyo ndio kitu imekushinda afadhali @OkiyaOmtatah ย hututetea kotini.”

Another group gave the former NASA advisor the thumbs up noting that Raila had failed his supporters.
Elvis Lowel commented that, “Daktari I fail to understand how the once sworn enemy of corruption today is busy sanitizing the rot he fought yesterday…I don’t need to be reminded…we have 0 leaders true to their quest. We only have dealers ready to betray the quest as long as it befits them.”
George Kenyan mentioned that, “Raila has enriched democracy in Kenya but his time to exit is now. The man has no morals left and should be in a retirement home drinking cold porridge.”
Humphrey Kibe articulated that, ”ย @DavidNdii am impressed by the services offered at capitol hill, where weupe wa pamba is granted. Kenya hii ina maajabu!”

Waiguru supports Raila’s candidate in Kibra
The former Premier clarified that the private meeting with the Jubilee party member was to discuss national cohesion and inclusivity.
The courtesy call by Waiguru became the third time the bureaucrats have met at the famous venue.
The gathering of the two during ODM’s rally in Kibra caused an uproar of how tables had turned.
The Kieleweleke member during the area by-elections, supported Raila’s candidate despite Jubilee fielding their own person.
The closeness ofย Raila and Waiguru was insinuated to have emerged after the central leader dropped a lawsuit against the ex-Prime Minister.
