WAGS: Cindie, The Lady Who Made Wazito Striker Unleash Special Celebration On the Pitch

Synthia Adhiambo and Wazito striker Pitsone Mutamba are an item. They have been married for about five years, and are blessed with one child.

Adhiambo is widely referred to by her peers as Cindie.

Before Cindie gave birth to the baby-girl in March 2019, Mutamba, then playing for Sofapaka, celebrated with the ball inside his jersey when the Batoto ba Mungu won their Kenyan Premier League match against Zoo Kericho in February-he scored the first goal in that match.

Notably, he battled with injuries to stage a beautiful competition against John Avire, Kepha Aswani, and Stephen Waruru then.

Speaking at the time of joining Wazito FC, Sports Director Solomon Alubala is expressed much hope in him banking on his experience for better performance.

“He [Mutamba], is a quality striker who can get the team out of tight situations. We are happy to have him back home, and we are confident his contribution will be massive for the team in the Kenyan Premier League next season,” Alubala said, at that time.

Cindie’s hobbies include swimming, listening to music and traveling, but, because of Mutamba, she’s become a football fan-and by default a Wazito diehard. She was a major Sofapaka fan before his husband moved to Wazito.

She has experience in hospitality as a profession, and they live together in Nairobi’s Dagoretti area.

Pistone Mutamba joined the money-bags Wazito in July on a three-year deal. He was simply getting back home after previously playing for the club until 2018.
