Waititu Fights Back As MCAs File Impeachment Motion Against Nyoro

Impeachment motion against Kiambu County Deputy Governor James Nyoro was on Tuesday filed by a section of his Members of County Assembly (MCAs).

The move comes barely a month after reports indicated that he fuelled the impeachment motion against County Executive (CEC) for Sports Karungo Thangwa.

Thangwa was ousted after he was found guilty of plundering public resources.

The recent developments come as a shocker since the MCAs had sworn that Governor Ferdinand Waititu was next on the line for impeachment.

However, unbowed by a series of attacks directed at him, Nyoro maintained his stand and warned county chiefs against underperforming.
