Itumbi’s Moving Message to Jaque Maribe Ahead of Her Murder Case

State House Digital Secretary Dennis Itumbi on Wednesday morning sent a moving message to his long-time friend Jaque Maribe who is set to be prosecuted for the murder of businesswoman Ms Monica Kimani.

Itumbi took to his social media accounts to encourage and wish the former Citizen Tv journalist favour ahead of her case.

The digital blogger in his tweet also accused the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of cooking evidence against the former TV anchor.

“To my good friend Jacque Maribe, I wish you God’s favour as you take the dock and watch the prosecution attempt to prove an outright lie scripted by @DCI_Kenya & pushed by tens of FAKE headlines.

“I will avoid the details. May justice be served to all. May Monica’s family get closure,” tweeted Itumbi.

Maribe will on Wednesday take the dock to face the prosecution team that will be making attempts to prove her guilt to the murder charges.

The former TV Anchor and her estranged lover Jowie Irungu were implicated in the murder of Ms Kimani.

Maribe, however, got a reprieve after he was released on bail after a month of detention. Her co-accused was denied bail because he was a flight risk.

The murder case got a new twist on Monday after the DNA results on white straps used to tie the hands of Ms Kimani delinked  Jowie, who is the prime suspect.

Ms Kimani was found murdered in cold blood in her rented apartment at Lamuria Gardens in Kilimani, Nairobi in September 2018.

Her body was found in a bathtub with her hands tied at the back and mouth sealed with white straps.
