Embakasi East Member of Parliament (MP) Babu Owino has said images circulating online of him alleging using cocaine are unreal.
The MP claimed that the photo, which was widely circulated on social media on Friday, of him preparing cocaine for snorting with a credit card is photoshopped.
Babu, at the same time, posted a video on Facebook bearing photoshopped images of him with naked women with a caption “will never be cowed but continue fighting for Kenyans”.

A message that accompanied the photos sent to the MP on Whatsapp read: “We will deal with you until you leave politics”.
Embakasi East Acting Communication Director Nick Wesala who spoke to Opera News reiterated Babu’s statement that attributed the images to envy.
“There is so much uneasiness amongst people in and out of our party that are out to tarnish the image and good reputation of our MP especially after being overwhelmingly voted as the best MP in Kenya,” he said.
Wesala promised action stating that they will soon name and shame the people behind the videos.
“In the coming weeks, we will be visiting the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to indulge him and help bring the culprits to book”.
