Jowie was With Monica Before Murder, Prominent Kenyans Join Wako on US Travel Ban & Koinange Family Tussle Over Inheritance

Good morning,

It is a very cold morning and the weatherman has predicted that the rains will continue until at least December. If you don’t keep warm now, you may celebrate Christmas in a hospital bed, yes choices have consequences.

A lot has been said about the high levels of unemployment. Recently, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s daughter Ngina Kenyatta was bashed for asking the youth to think outside the box on matters of job creation.

The Funeral Service Association of Kenya (FSAK) has revealed that the sector is in dire need of morticians and morgue attendants. Currently, there are only 250 trained morticians, which is less than a quarter of the required number.

Why do Kenyans fear the dead so much? People working in morgues are often looked at with a certain stereotype. But if you are jobless then you should consider venturing in this uncompetitive field. Chiromo Hospital Mortuary offers a three-month course for morticians.

Working in morgues may not be fancy but someone has got to get the job done.

Away from unemployment, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru was on Citizen TV on Tuesday night to talk about the corruption menace in Kenya. We will be discussing the interview and other interesting stories on Opera News.

Here are the stories making headlines:
