Turkana Brothers Overcome Odds to Excel in KCPE, Radio Africa to Fire Employees & Scare as Malindi Aircraft Lands Without Front Wheel

Good morning,

On a normal day, we would be discussing KCPE results and how our young ones performed exceptionally well. But let us talk about Amos Wako because if we don’t fix this country now, the children who got their results on Monday may have no country when they come of age.

The former Attorney General, his wife Flora Ngaira and son Julius Wako have been barred from entering the US due to ‘involvement in substantial corruption.’ The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has never flagged Wako despite the fact that he joined politics and has twice been elected as Busia Senator on an ODM ticket.

To make matters worse, Wako is part of the Building Bridges Taskforce that is proposing to change the constitution in favour of a parliamentary system and introducing the position of Prime Minister.

Wako’s party boss, Raila Odinga, has spoken glowingly about the BBI report but he has never stated how changing the constitution will tackle the runaway corruption.

Raila has also talked glowingly about Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, whom he accused of stealing NYS money in the past.

The truth is Raila and the political class at large cannot be expected to tackle the corruption menace because it touches their friends.

The government will soon spend billions of money on the BBI report especially if Amos Wako and co succeed in taking us to a referendum. This is the same government that wants to name and shame unemployed students who are unable to pay their HELB loans.

When will they stop?

Here are the stories making headlines on Opera News:

One of the brothers got 402 marks, while the other had 419 marks. Pictures of the two golden boys have gone viral on social media with Kenyans praising them for their hard work.

We hope the government will ensure the siblings realise their potential.
