Raila’s Cousin Forced to Apologise on Live TV (Video)

ODM leader Raila Odinga’s cousin was left embarrassed on Tuesday, after he was forced to make an apology during a live broadcast.

Jakoyo Midiwo, during NTV’s AM Live show, was not allowed to proceed with his day to day routine by the show host Debarl Inea.

The former Gem MP’s moment of shame was as a result of arriving late to the discussion panel.

Midiwo was made to go before his colleague to perform the gesture.

The politician opted to bow before the other politicians as a sign of being sorry, a manner which was received with hearty laughter by the panellists.

The leader who went on to join the discussion, noted that Education CS George Magoha deserved praise for the work done during the KCPE examinations period.

The tough taking ex-lawmaker remarked that Magoha handled the exam cheating menace with effectiveness.

“Magoha has really normalized things, I think at times it’s good to say thank you,” stated Midiwo.

He further reiterated that the CS was a good school manager based on his previous track record at the University of Nairobi (UoN).

“When Magoha was at UoN, we had a scenario where there were no strikes. He is just a good school manager,” expressed the former MP.

During the discussion, Midiwo also revealed that a teacher had confided in him of how they used to engage in stealing of exams.

The ODM party member commented that the tutor stated that they used to pay a certain amount of money and obtain the papers months before the national process began.

The 53-year-old as a grand gesture, congratulated former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale on his daughter’s achievement in the examinations.

Khalwale highlighted that despite the challenges his daughter faced in the form of the mother passing away, she excelled better than he anticipated.
