Sifuna responded to a tweet by Ruto in which he criticised a Thursday story by The Standard ‘Handshake MPs ask Ruto to quit’ and accused ODM leader Raila Odinga of using the MPs to destroy the Jubilee Party.

“The person you are truly angry at is your boss. He supported the handshake candidate in Kibra and we continue to thank him. You have no balls to face him which is why you choose to lash at others. Omwami the problem is in your bedroom, not ours. Grow a pair and face your boss!” Sifuna tweeted.

Sifuna also claimed that Ruto was angry after ODM carried the day in the November 7 Kibra by-election despite spending a lot of money.

“At this rate, we will ask for a Paybill number so that we return this person’s money so that he stops crying,” he said.

The political sides allied to Ruto and Raila have engaged in bitter exchanges after the Kibra by-election in which ODM candidate Bernard Imran Okoth was declared the winner.

Ruto accused Raila of using violence and demanded that he publicly apologises to Kenyans on the same.

On Wednesday, DP Ruto escalated fights with the former Prime Minister by calling him a political conman who thrives by wrecking political parties.

“Tinga/his party’s trail of political conmanship/deceit from Kanu thro’ Cord to Nasa and now heading to Jubilee; and litany of violence from 82’coup to Kibra cannot be hidden behind BBI. As a Minimum must 1) publicly renounce violence as a political tool. 2) Undertake to accept defeat” Ruto said.
